Hi ladies! I am so excited to help you START singing with confidence so you can have more creative lives as aspiring performing artists! Do you wish you could sing more, but don’t have time or money for voice training? Do you want to get your voice back and sing better, but don’t know where to start or how to grow your vocal technique? Do you wish you had an outlet to sing outside of your busy life, but are afraid of what people will think? Do you wish your friends and family could hear you sing and be AMAZED at how good you sound - but you just don’t feel confident in your voice? Want to start auditioning and performing in community theatre...and maybe even professionally if you’re honest! Want to improve your vocal range and sing better? Want to get over stage fright and your fear of singing in front of others? Want to do vocal warm ups and start voice training and ACTUALLY see a difference in your voice? I get it, because I’ve been there! Hi, I’m Estelle, a Professional Singer, Actor, and Voice Teacher for aspiring female singers and performers in my online studio, Creatively Performing Arts. I also teach and music direct locally in North Carolina at various music studios and theaters! I’m also a theatre kid at heart even in my 20’s! I grew up performing, but the world kept telling me to save the arts for retirement or the weekends because they aren’t “serious pursuits”. So I didn’t focus on growing those skills as much in college and struggled to feel confident in my love for singing and performing. However, after college, I realized I had those creative gifts and passions for a reason. So, in spite of my fears, I decided to start growing my skills in singing, dancing, and acting! I began to build more confidence in my dreams and my voice as a singer over TIME. I want to help you do the same - build confidence in your singing voice and performance skills, so that you can live out your creative dreams! On this show, you’ll get beginner singing, performing, and creativity tips. You will learn how to sing with more confidence, how to train your voice, how to start performing on stage with confidence, how to go audition for community theatre and other shows, how to start singing at open mic nights and on social media, how to find ways to be creative every day, and MORE! You’ll even get mindset tips to help you take action on your creative gifts in spite of imposter syndrome, self-doubt, rejection, and fear of what people think so you can finally start singing and building confidence in your voice! Today's interview is with the amazing Drea Lopez, a multi-faceted creative, podcast host, and singer/songwriter who won her first Latin Grammy with Gloria Estefan's album "#Brazil305" as a co-writer on the song "Cuando Hay Amor". Her podcast, "The Journey of Pursuit", is a show "created to highlight creative entrepreneur’s journeys" and has charted on Apple Podcast Charts across the world!
Drea shares her journey from studying music business to interning at Emilio Estefan's studio, becoming a professional songwriter, and now helping other creatives see what is possible through her podcast.
